God is good all the time

the other day i was reminded not to place my hope in men. they don’t show
up when they say they will and when you need their support. they betray your trust. but by God’s grace, you learn to forgive them even before they consider offering an apology or an explanation. in this case, the context is our performance at the dcbc cantata last sunday. some people also took for granted our sacrifice for that dance. i say, shame on them for judging what they cannot see… hearts that worship the Lord. i was tempted to shoot the messenger. really. i’m glad that i was reminded that i was dancing for the Lord and for Him alone and not for the praise of men. it was He who sustained us through the trials each of us experienced and it was He who directed our steps on that stage. my joy and my pain, i lift it all up to the Lord.
